Frequently Asked Questions
What is a discovery call?
This is a free 15-minute phone call to get to know one another, discuss goals, and see if we are a good fit. There is never any pressure to continue with coaching services if you don’t feel comfortable or ready.
What should I expect during the initial session?
Our first session will include a deep dive into your health history, eating habits, food preferences, activity level, work schedule, and budget- all things which contribute to food choices and are important for me to know in order to give you the best service possible. Together, we will set realistic, timely goals based on your background and objectives.
What should I expect during the follow-up sessions?
Follow-ups will differ from person to person but may consist of any combination of the following: evaluating goals and progress, creating grocery lists, pantry walk-through, recipe building, supplement reviews, personalized nutrition breakdown, evidence-backed explanations, overcoming barriers, etc.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours is required for cancelling appointments. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment time will be billed at 100%.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I have partnered with Fay to accept Aetna, Cigna, Golden Rule, Optum, Oxford, United Healthcare, and United Medical Resources (UMR). To schedule an appointment using your insurance, you will have to book through this link. If you don’t see your insurance and are experiencing financial struggles, please reach out to me personally. I understand that health can be a big expense and am happy to work together to find a payment plan that works for you.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please reach out with an email.
